Automation for Actinic: Error 'A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in outlook. do you want to allow this'

Emails can't be sent automatically because the following warning is displayed. This eventually times out (and no email is sent).

This is because emails are being sent using your default mail client, which is Outlook. Outlook does this to stop Malware sending emails on your behalf.

To resolve this issue you need to configure Automation for Actinic to use your smtp settings, allowing Automation for Actinic to use its email client features. This approach also works for Order Processing for Actinic. On the Email options page click on the Setup Email button.

If, after setting up your emails to send using SMTP, the program is still trying to use Outlook, you should check the "Save copies" box (Options > Email Options - Print Options) to prevent this and force use of SMTP settings.
