Automation for Actinic: How to automatically put your Actinic orders into Sage (or Quickbooks)

You can use Automation for Actinic to automatically take your Actinic orders and transfer them to Sage Line 50. This means that you can effectively leave your Actinic PC to 'look after itself' and do all of your Order Processing within Sage.

Pre-requisites

1 Set-up up Actinic Link to transfer your orders into Sage. This should transfer your orders into Sage (into the correct accounts etc.).

2 Install and run Automation for Actinic.

3 Click on the Options button.

4 Amend the default task (select the first task listed in Actions) and click on the Edit button.

5 Set-up the Task as shown below. This task can be performed at a particular time if required.

NOTE: The text to paste into the task to run should be ME_TaskKiller.exe -B <Window>

6 Press OK on the task and select the Order Processing tab.

7 Select the options as shown below:

8 Press the OK button to close the options.

9 Run the Automation for Actinic Task Killer program (from the Start menu short cut).

10 You should set-up the program to select the program to close. This is shown below:

If you are using Quickbooks select the Actinic Link for QuickBooks program to close.

11 You can then close this program by using the [X] button in the top right hand corner of the window.

This is now set-up.

NOTE: You can buy just the Order Processing Mole to do this (if you don't need the other functionality of Automation for Actinic).
