Our Upgrade program can be used to back up your settings, transfer settings from one computer to another, as well as upgrade from a previous version of Actinic / Sellerdeck to your current one. It will also transfer your password settings. It can be downloaded from: http://http://www.mole-end.biz/download/ME_UpgradeMgr.exe/
Select the Actinic version that you want to backup the settings for(using Version to upgrade/export from) Select the products that you want to back up e.g. Product Mash(all feeds) Click on the Export settings button. You will be prompted for a filename to store all the information to. You can then store this file in a safe place and use it to restore your settings if required. When running the program to transfer settings from one PC to another: Select the Actinic/Sellerdeck version that you want to transfer the settings for(using the Version to upgrade/export from) Select the products that you want to upgrade the settings for e.g. Product Mash(all feeds) Click on the Export settings button. You will be prompted for a filename to store all the information to. On the other PC select the Actinic/Sellerdeck version to install the values into(using the Version to upgrade/import to) If you want to overwrite the default settings used for a product (the advised option) tick the box for Overwrite existing settings when upgrading or importing (if they exist). Select the required choice for the Overwrite existing files when importing(if they exist) option. Click on the Import settings button. You should enter the filename to import that was previously exported from the other PC. When running the program to upgrade from one Sellerdeck version to another: Step 1 : Change your product version Select the products that you want to upgrade settings for e.g. Product Mash(all feeds). If you want to overwrite the default settings used for a product (the advised option) tick the box for Overwrite existing settings when upgrading or importing (if they exist). Click on the Upgrade settings button. You will have to copy your license manually. You need to use the long license key from the email sent to you when you bought the software. If you need to contact support or need help in identifying a license you can copy and send the license information displayed in the About box. This information will tell Mole End Support the order that the license relates to. We can then re-send you your license key. |
