ProductMash: Getting better results from Googlebase/Froogle

To enable your products to be more visible and more easily found in Googlebase you should include as much searchable information as possible in the main product description. To do this you should redefine the Googlebase product description to include additional information (which does not appear in your Actinic description).

For example, if you want to the following format in your product descriptions

Manufacturer + Product reference + Short Description

This would allow people to find your products by the manufacturer and product reference (assuming that your product reference is the same as the manufacturers part no) in addition to the existing words in your product description.

or if the information that you require can be retrieved from a macro (see http://www.mole-end.biz/acatalog/PMFAAdvancedInfo.html), for example, by using the manufacturer defined within one of the parent sections you could use the definition for the description to be:
