ProductMash: How to include product information from files in Actinic V8
If you want to use different product descriptions (or any other fields), for certain feeds, from a file you should use the following approach for Actinic V8 (and above).
1 Within the Design Library (Design->Library menu option) create a new variable. This should be set to the�File content�Type. An example is shown below.
2 Within each product (or section) in the product properties add in the required filename to get the information from. An example is shown below.
3 Within the Product Mash define the a property that uses the defined variable. Add in any default values if requried. An example is shown below.
